"The aim of the lecture is to present the legal aspects of cybersecurity in a practical way. The presentation is going to touch on the following topics: 1. legal and non-legal sources of the requirements of safety systems (Polish and EU regulations; industry best practices and recommendations); 2. cybersecurity management process (normative basis; identification and characterization of processes); 3. specificity of cyber threats (awareness of threats in Polish organizations – statistics overview; internal and external problems to be faced to ensure security; information security policy must-haves); 4. dispute case study (disputes related to cybersecurity vs. role and position of the developer – liability of the organizations and its personnel from the legal perspective; dangerous attacks examples and incident management to mitigate the risk)."
