Kusal Janith Perera 50 in 17 balls | FASTEST FIFTY | SL vs PAK 2nd ODI Kusal Janith Perera smashed 68 off 25 balls equalling Sanath Jayasuriya's record of the 2nd fastest half century in ODI history (off 17 balls) as Sri Lanka tied the series 1-1 with 3 games to go. Batting first Pakistan scored 287 with Azhar Ali, Shoaib Malik and Mohammed Rizwan scoring 50s. Sri Lanka bolted out of the stables scoring 92 by the time Perera was out in the 9th over. Pakistan pulled things back with a clutch of quick wickets but a cameo by debutant Sachith Pathirana and a cool 48 not out by Dinesh Chandimal saw Sri Lanka home. The series now moves to Colombo where the action starts again on Sunday the 19th at the Premadasa.
