Black Garlic Cookies (Dracula’s Curse) Halloween Cookies

We will be making some Black Garlic, Pinwheel Cookies and I have decided to name Dracula's Curse. This is definitely a savory cookie that will give your Halloween Cookies and party a nice "bite". It is a sweet and earthy tasting cookie that any and all will enjoy. This is a great Black Garlic recipe that you would not think about using. Below is the recipe for this tasty cookie: Black Garlic paste: 2 heads of black garlic 1/4 lemon, juiced 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup water 1 TBSP Honey 1/4 tsp cornstarch Add all ingredients and simmer until all sugar is dissolved and it becomes thick and syrupy. Pinwheel Cookie: 1/2 cup unsalted butter 2 3/4 cup flour 1 cup sugar 1 egg 3 1/2 TBSP milk 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp lemon extract 1/4 tsp zest of lemon Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg, milk, lemon extract and zest until creamed. Slowly add the flour and baking powder until fully mixed. Make into a ball and refrigerate for an hour. Take the ball of dough out and roll into a rectangle until it is 1/4 inch, and add the Black Garlic mixture to the top. Roll up the cookie dough, until it looks like a cinnamon roll. Cut the dough into small cookies. Place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 mins. Take out and cool on cooling rack. Lemon Glaze 1 lemon, juiced 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 TBS butter Combined all ingredients until completely dissolved and thickens up. When cookies are cooled, drizzle over cookies and enjoy.
