I followed the guide below and installed an extra 8 synths (and effects, MIDI and other tools) onto my Ableton Move using the open source project, ‘Move Everything’. If you want to jump to hearing the synths, see below for a list and timestamps to jump to each. This software mod builds on the work shown in my previous videos using the Raspberry Pi to emulate synths. Although greater than the sum of it's parts, the Move is essentially a Pi in a very fancy box with excellent audio and additional hardware (and hence ripe for modding). To quote Charles Vestal from the Github for this version of the project, “This is, in the truest sense of the word, a hack. It is not stable, or generally usable as a daily driver, but it's interesting, and super fun. Be warned, but have fun!” I followed this excellent guide from @charlesv on how to use the installer, • Installing Move Everything on Ableton Move... Enormous thanks to Charles Vestal, Bobby Digitales and many others who have made this happen. Read ALL the guides – and remind yourself that it is NOT an official project. Watch this and other videos and see if you are tempted to risk it. It IS a lot of fun ;) 10:20 - App store list The synths are ported variations of, 10:40 - DEXED (DX emulation) 15:50 -- Braids (from Mutable Instruments) 16:25 - Hera (Juno-60 emulation) 17:34 - JV880 (Roland JV-880 emulation) 19:45 - JV880 (Roland JV-880 EXPANSIONS) 27:15 - SF2 (Soundfont player) 27:40 - SurgeXT (Hybrid synth) 28:50 - Raffosynth (Moog ladder filter synth) 29:30 - OB-XD (Oberheim style synth) Also featured are MIDI effects (arpeggiator/chords) and multiple effects plug-ins (inc. CLAP plug-in host). This video just scratches the surface of what this mod offers – I hope it gives you enough to intrigue you and have you looking for more information. I think I call the mod, ‘Move Everything’ and “Move Anything’ interchangeably more than once* and I’ve already discovered that there IS pitch bend from another keyboard I tried over USB. Thanks for watching....I'm going to do a song with them all very soon! *'Move Everything' is the official name for Charles Vestal's fork of Bobby Digitales' 'Move Anything'....
