With inflation and increasing grocery prices, every trip to the store feels more expensive than the last. But through canning, I’ve been able to cut our grocery bill, eliminate buying many pantry staples from the grocery store, and keep healthy, homemade food on my shelves year-round. In this video, I’m sharing the 5 categories I can that save our family the most money: Broth – beef, chicken, veggie, even onion broth made from scraps. Jam – endless flavors that cost pennies compared to store prices. Tomatoes – salsa, spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, sloppy joe mix, and more. Meals in a Jar – ham & beans, stew, stroganoff, soups, and chicken dinners. Condiments – ketchup, BBQ sauce, cowboy candy, mustard, and relish. (Yes, that was the @LawnCareJuggernaut in my kitchen! Kevi is my cousin, he is an incredible man working his tail off to help others, so if you haven't already done so, make sure to go check out his channel, @LawnCareJuggernaut and @TheBoringChannelLawnCare ) These are the jars that keep us from relying on overpriced store-bought items, fast food, or packaged meals. Instead of paying inflated prices, I can grab food straight from my pantry—homemade, shelf-stable, and budget-friendly. 👉 If you’re tired of fighting rising grocery bills and want to save money by eliminating the grocery store as much as possible, this is where to start. • Preserving the Harvest ✨ More videos to help you save: Homesteader’s Fast Food | Meals in Jars That Beat Takeout • Homesteader's Fast Food | Canning Ready-to... 7 Genius Sourdough Discard Recipes • 7 Amazing Sourdough Discard Recipes You've...
