On September 28th, 2022 South Gulf Cove Florida was hit by a strong Category 4 (Nearly Category 5) Hurricane named Ian. Hurricane Ian brought 140+ MPH winds to South Gulf Cove, Snapped Power lines like they were toothpicks, ripped off many shingles of houses, and knocked down some new construction houses in the block stage of being built. Today, we are going to explore what South Gulf Cove looks like just 3 weeks after Hurricane Ian made landfall in Southwest Florida. Many repairs have been done including new power lines to restore power to the area, debris clean up, etc. South Gulf Cove Florida is an Upscale, yet Relaxing Waterfront Community just South of Sarasota Florida by 30 Miles. This community has a voluntary Homeowners Association with many homesites still available to build on.
