Northern Ireland Cairnryan To Larne Ferry | Arriving At Curran Caravan Park

We chose the shortest route possible to get to Northern Ireland because Jenny has suffered bad seasickness in the past and also we didn't want Poppy our Westie to spend too long in the motorhome. Our first trip to Northern Ireland for both of us. We took a short journey to Curran Caravan Park just a few minutes from the ferry terminal. ▶ PLEASE NOTE: We chose the shortest route possible to get to and from Northern Ireland because Jenny has suffered bad seasickness in the past and we didn't want Poppy our Westie to spend too long in the motorhome. The crossing took 2 hours and cost £367 return, which we paid three years ago. Poppy was completely unfazed by the crossings, which she spent snoozing in her travel crate in the motorhome. At the time of filming (08/09/2022 to 25/09/2022) although Animal Health Certificates are required, we didn't get one because no checks were being carried out on pets being transported to and from Great Britain and Northern Ireland since the Northern Ireland Assembly suspended checks in 2021. No human passports are required because the UK and Ireland are in a common travel area, but it advisable to take them with you as a form of ID.
