Welcome to Age of Empires 3: Enhanced Legacy Edition (ELE). This mod aims to perform a remaster of sorts for the original Age of Empires 3 by being the ultimate Vanilla+ experience--with enhanced textures, model animations, QoL, non-gameplay-affecting additions and changes, immersion/realism, battle effects, and more--all with zero gameplay changes to vanilla civilizations and general gameplay elements. Features include more visceral battles; higher-res vanilla-styled UI + some Improvement mod features; optional upscaled buildings textures; smarter, more adaptable and strategic AI; more Homecity props, increased deck limits, and enhanced sense of level progression; balancing, fixes, and improvements from the ESOC Patch, plus better models, fixes, and animations from the Improvement and Wars of Liberty mods; higher navy and defensive structure build limits/upgrades; two additional fully-featured, well-integrated civs based on original ideas and historical themes; plus more.
