In this video the customer gives us a rundown on the history of this 1976 Chris Craft Tournament 30 designed by Ray Hunt. This is a rare hull that was made for only one year due to a law suit filed by Bertram. We discuss diesel power plant options and begin work by removing the old engines. We also begin some delicate restoration work as we begin repairing some rotten wood on the bulkhead at the aft end of the cabin while keeping the original interior finishes intact. Stay tuned for more on this project, we plan to follow this one from driving to the hoist under power of the old gas engines, all the way through sea trials!
