Over a decade ago, we were building what we believed would become the biggest talk show in Africa. Long nights, big dreams, unseen sacrifices, laughter, pressure, and purpose — all unfolding on The Teju Babyface Show, one of Nigeria’s most influential television platforms. During that journey, I served as Assistant Host and Sidekick — known to many then as Segun Dangote. Some years later, I made the personal decision to step away and pursue other interests, while The Teju Babyface Show continued its successful run for several more years. Today, I sit across from my mentor and big brother, Mr Teju Babyface Oyelakin, as S-DEE; Host of POV with S-DEE. This episode is a reunion — but it’s also a reflection. We talk honestly about how we met, the running of the show, the “sufferings”, the moments that made it all worth it, the secret escapades, the life challenges being dealt with and how life has unfolded for both of us afterwards.
