My Dad Bought His Dream Jetski - BARN FIND! | Seadoo RXTX RS | Ep1

So throughout my whole Classic Jetski journey, travelling hundreds of miles going to find these classic skis, my Dad (Geoff) has been there along with Megan, to support and help make this channel happen. My Dad had skis throughout the 90's and was there and literally got the t-shirt! The Seadoo SP I have in the garage 30 years later, is the exact same model my Dad was racing around on, when he was in his 20s. Fast forward many years later and although my Dad gets stuck in and rides my beloved 2 strokes, (his favourite is the GSX Ltd by the way), he has long said he wants the best that new gen has to offer. I think its different when you have lived through the golden 2 stroke era, that unlike me, he didn't miss out on experiencing it all first hand. So now for him, he rightly wants to experience what this era of skis has to offer, and of course like me, if you're going to do something, you don't do it by halves... He had his heart set on a 300hp RXTX with the ST3 hull, to offer him a balance between performance but also comfort, when I'm forcing him to race across those aggressive sea waves... After a lot of looking he found this pristine, quite literal barn find, with super low hours. Anyone that knows these modern day skis, know the prices in recent times have gone bananas. I'm not going to reveal anything here but once again, seeing what my Dad got this ski for, yet again demonstrates why he is the OG wheeler dealer...
