How to change the haldex fluid and filter on a Mk5 R32, haldex service, G055175A2, 02D598574. The next step in changing all the fluids on the R32 is to service the illustrious Haldex. This involved draining the fluid, changing the filter and adding in fresh fluid. The only difficulties were lack of clearance (so please excuse some awkward camera angles) and a Haldex filter cap that was on too tight. Another point of note is the filter itself. The filter spacer was on the wrong end on my filter, it caused me some confusion. It's easily swapped round (detailed in the video). After a quick drive the combination of the Haldex service and rear differential service has the rear end significantly more responsive.
