Vulnerable narcissism is characterized by shame, anger, aggression, hypersensitivity, a tendency to be introverted, defensive, avoidant, anxious, depressed, socially awkward, and shy. Narcissistic personality disorder is a Cluster B personality disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual.
