It was of an unknown brand but in working condition. It was fun to restore and I learned a lot. Firstly I dismantled the compressor completely. I then paint stripped all of the paint. Once that was gone I set about removing the rust from all of the steel parts and I also removed any dents. I then masked the metal parts up before I etch primed, epoxy primed and then painted them blue. Whilst that was drying I got to cleaning and polishing all of the internal parts and external nuts and bolts. I then made a new air filter for the piston and then 3d printed and a new cap for the new capacitor. I then reassembled the compressor and tested it out with an airbrush. I have now sanded back the ground connection, resoldered the wires and added heat shrink. Disclaimer: I am no professional. Especially when it comes to electrics. It is certainly an area I am looking to improve in. I am completely self-taught and would appreciate any feedback, advice or constructive criticism.
