It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of my nephew, Ollie 'Ollie Talks Airsoft' White’s passing. Ollie lost his battle with bowel cancer on Sunday morning, leaving behind a legacy that touched so many lives. As his uncle, I’ve watched him grow into a remarkable man—one who was a son, a brother, and a friend to cherish. Ollie was a pillar in the airsoft community, a passion he threw himself into with all his heart. He championed the TM MWS system, convincing more than a few to join him in his enthusiasm—and we’re all the better for it. To me, he wasn’t just a player; he was the heartbeat of what airsoft could be. Honest, dependable, and always ready to lend a hand, Ollie would sit out games to fix someone’s gear for free, even handing over his own so they could keep playing. That was just who he was. When he got his diagnosis, with only three months they said, Ollie faced it with a courage that made me proud to be his uncle. He stretched those three months into nearly fifteen, staring down the inevitable with a defiance I’ll never forget. He once told a friend he’d give the grim reaper a wedgie and a poke in the eye—well, nephew, you sure showed him. Ollie, thank you—for the pride you brought our family, for the way you lifted up your airsoft crew, and for the joy you found in every moment. I’ll never forget the wild stories from your Magaluf holiday—tales too rowdy to repeat here—or the quiet times when you’d just sit and talk, always with that spark in your eye. You were a light, a support for so many, and a nephew any uncle would be honoured to have. I love you, kid. Rest easy, and thanks for the memories—I’ll carry them always.
