In this video you will see the A35 highway in The Netherlands and a big chunck of the Rijksweg A1. Also the rijksweg N18 will be shown in this video. You will see a dashcam video from Twente (near the german border) all the way to Amsterdam which is basicly a drive thru of The Netherlands from East to West. You will see lots of Bridges and Ecoducs and the veluwe nature reserve. And lots of other infrastructure like traffic lights, bridges, highways and roundabouts. Some information about the highways shown in this video: About the A35: The municipal N35 starts in Zwolle, on the A28 motorway at the Zwolle-Noord junction. Here, the Zwartewaterallee changes into the Ceintuurbaan, which carries the number N35. The N35 is part of the Ring Zwolle and is called the Ring East. The road has 2x3 lanes and from the Isala Klinieken on 2x2 lanes. The road has a large number of intersections regulated by traffic lights. At Marslanden industrial area the ring turns to the west. The N35 is called Heinoseweg and narrows to 2x2 lanes. You leave the built-up area of Zwolle. This is also where the N35 ends for the municipality of Zwolle. The N35 is then a 2x2 lane motorway with a maximum speed of 100 km/h. This dual carriageway is only a few kilometres long and passes the village of Wijthmen. The motorway ends at the traffic lights near Hoonhorst. After this the N35 is a single carriageway road with a maximum speed of 80 km/h. From here on the N35 is called the Ganzepanweg. The road runs through a typical Salland landscape of meadows and small woods. The road is also called the Zwolseweg. The road passes the village of Heino, where a bypass has been built. After Heino, the road is called Heinoseweg and you will reach the town of Raalte. On the northern side of Raalte, the N348 comes via the N35. The N348 connects Deventer and Ommen and is a north-south route. This dual carriageway is considered a congestion-sensitive route. The Salland-Twente tunnel in Nijverdal. Just before Nijverdal the road crosses the Sallandse Heuvelrug, where the N35 rises about 40 metres. In the direction of Zwolle, from Nijverdal there is a climbing strip here. In Nijverdal the N35 passes through the Salland-Twente tunnel. It crosses the Regge river, after which the last few miles follow as an N-road until Wierden. Here the N35 becomes the A35 motorway. It crosses the N350, the road to Rijssen, and the more important connection with the N36 to the west of Almelo and Hardenberg. The Twente Canal is crossed, after which a major junction follows in Almelo-Zuid. Not far after that is the Azelo junction, where the A1 from Deventer joins the A35, creating a double number. The A1/A35 has 2x3 lanes until the Buren interchange. In between is the junction Borne. This part of Highway 35 is the busiest. At junction Buren the A1 turns off to the east, to Oldenzaal, Osnabrück and Hannover. The A35 runs via a TOTSO west of Hengelo and crosses the N346, an east-west route parallel to the A1 from Zutphen. Immediately after Hengelo follows the largest city in the province, Enschede, with an urban entrance in the form of the Westerval. On the other side is the N18 in the direction of Haaksbergen and Doetinchem. At Zuiderval in Enschede the motorway ends and the N35 continues as a motorway. Just before the German border there is another intersection with the Oostweg to Glanerbrug, after which the N35 crosses the border with Germany. On the German side the 2+1 lane B54 continues towards Münster. About the A1: Already before the Second World War, the construction of the A1 motorway was started by means of earthen lanes between Baarn and Hoogland, a small village now surrounded by Amersfoort. Due to the Second World War and the German occupation, this work was halted. Work resumed in 1948 and was completed in 1951. In the early 1950s, the first lanes were opened, such as between Muiderslot and Naarden and between Baarn and Hoevelaken. The first 2x2 section opened in 1958 between Muiderslot and Naarden-West. A year later, the planning decision was taken for the section across the Veluwe, from Terschuur to the IJssel bridge. Between 1964 and 1967, the section from Naarden to Baarn was opened, creating a missing link between Naarden-West and Naarden. This section opened to traffic in 1973, immediately with 2x3 lanes. Between 1974 and 1978 the motorway was extended further eastwards to the Azelo junction. In 1979 followed the A35 between Azelo and Delden, over which also the A1 runs. At the end of the 1970s, the route for the rest of the route to the border with Germany was finalised, but never started. In 1985 a section from De Lutte to Schüttorf in Germany opened, largely as the A30. At the end of the 1980s the motorway was opened eastwards; in 1988 to Hengelo-Noord and on 12 November 1992 between Oldenzaal and De Lutte, thus completing the A1.
