The Aomori Nebuta Festival is one of Japan’s most iconic summer festivals, held every August in the city of Aomori. Giant illuminated floats called nebuta, depicting courageous warriors and mythical scenes, parade through the streets in vibrant colors. The festival is brought to life with the powerful chants of "Rassera" and the rhythm of drums and flutes, creating an electrifying atmosphere that unites spectators and participants alike. Recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, it’s widely known as a festival that captivates countless visitors. Its grandeur and beauty are truly a must-see. I was so moved by the energy of the music and the unity of the crowd that I couldn’t hold back my tears.
