Artistic Meditations - How to Find Peace Through Art

Welcome to this first lesson in a new painting series I'm calling, Artistic Meditations - How to Find Peace Through Art This is a series is for artists of every level and one that I will be offering on my Patreon page. I wanted to give an abbreviated version here on the Monet Cafe' channel. In this series, you will step into a realm where time slows down, colors come alive, and your artistic spirit soars. In this first lesson, I am using primarily acrylic inks, but future lessons will most assuredly include soft pastels. As with all of my lessons, I encourage you to use what you have; and since the point of this series is to get creative you have the artistic license to create through various mediums. Before you begin to paint, I have a few recommendations: 1. Have your products readily available and at your fingertips, so that you can immerse yourself in the experience without interruptions. 2. Try to choose a time and location to paint where you will be free from distractions... (good luck with that one moms who have kids at home, ha ha) 3. Play some music that is calming. I often prefer music with no vocals for this type of painting. 4. Light a candle, have a cup of tea, or whatever puts you in a state of calm.
