Shri Vrinda Devi Temple, Kamyavan Location: Kamyavan, one of the 12 sacred forests (Braj) in Uttar Pradesh, near Mathura. Deity: The main deity is an idol of Vrinda Devi. The temple also contains a statue of Govindaji and a replica of Lord Jagannath. Significance: Kamyavan is known as the "Forest of Desire" because it is believed to fulfill the wishes of its devotees. The temple is an important site for pilgrims visiting the Braj region.  Vrinda Kunda Location: Near a sacred pond in Vrindavan. Significance: The area is associated with the legend of Vrinda Devi, who is said to have arranged the daily pastimes of Radha and Krishna. Deity: The temple here houses a beautiful deity of Vrinda Devi. Her left hand holds a yellow parrot named Daksa, who reportedly flies around Vrindavan and reports back what he sees.  Other "Vrinda Devi" temples Sati Vrinda Devi Temple in Jalandhar: A temple dedicated to Sati Vrinda, wife of the demon Jalandhar, as a symbol of devotion and her role in a legendary battle with the gods. This is a different religious figure from the one in Braj. Sati Vrinda Devi Gufa in Jalandhar: Another temple in Jalandhar, dedicated to Sati Vrinda, where women pray for the long life of their husbands, especially during festivals like Karva Chauth.
