Il Dente del Gigante è una vetta del massiccio del Monte Bianco riconoscibilissima sia dall'Italia, sia dalla Francia, per il suo profilo particolare. L'ho ammirata tantissime volte facendo escursioni nelle valli vicino, proprio perché spicca inconfondibile. Tuttavia non ci ero mai salito col drone. Si potrebbe salire abbastanza facilmente da punta Helbronner, arrivati là con la cabinovia, ma io ho scelto di parti dal basso, dalla Val Ferret... altrimenti che divertimento c'è? Quindi ho oltrepassato il bosco di larici ormai gialli, una cascatella, il ghiacciaio costellato di crepacci, ho risalito un muro di rocce e finalmente eccolo là. Su in cima c'è una madonnina nera.
