CASTING THE BRONZE FOR THE KILNGATE MEMORIAL

Watch the highly skilled engineers at Meigh's and Westley's foundry turn the Dream into Reality. Filmed on February 4th and 5th 2026 by Ray Johnson, follow every step in constructing the final mould to take the molten bronze, incorporating the template created at Castle Fine Arts near Oswestry - then through to the pouring of the molten bronze to cast the plaque to the Fallen. The following day - when cooled - the mould is broken open to reveal the final bronze plaque, which was then taken to Castle Fine Arts for final cleaning and presentation.
