To reach MECHUKA is not that easy | MECHUKA 2024 | EP 01

Knowing that it was not wise to reach MECHUKA in the night,I started around 3:30 PM from DIBRUGARH and reached PASIGHAT at around 7:30 PM. Since I had already collected information about the route that leads to MECHUKA, I was well prepared. Due to road cutting, as the GOVT is planning to make this road fully tarmac, BRO closes the route for 6 hours( 9AM to 12 NOON & 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM). On the way to AALO when I encountered dense fog, I thought that I would not be able to cross the points where cutting was happening, but somehow I managed to cross those points before time. Terrain starting from PENE till MECHUKA was treacherous, but I had to reach on time so that I couldn't get stuck at any points where cutting was happening, I was riding a bit faster than my usual riding pace. At MECHUKA, I got to know that people there did not accept coins, and internet connectivity was poor(Only BSNL was working). If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments section.
