TOPIC: A LIFESTYLE OF FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY SCRIPTURE: "Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him." Daniel 6:3-4 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Financial accountability is a non-negotiable requirement for anyone who desires to be a beneficiary of God’s blessing and abundance. Financial accountability is an essential aspect of uprightness. It is a vital key to accessing the Blessing of God. This was evident in the life of Joseph. Genesis 39:5-6 says: And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. Joseph’s financial integrity and accountability brought blessings not just to him but also to the house of his master, the Egyptian. Everything entrusted to Joseph’s care prospered. ASSIGNMENTS: 1.Make up your mind to be transparent and accountable in all your financial dealings. 2.Ensure that all financial records are accurate and transparent. Refuse to engage in financial crookedness. PRAYER: Father, I ask for deliverance from every form of financial crookedness. I receive the grace to live an upright life and maintain financial integrity Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
