We have this unit since March of 2015 and after about 6 months of testing, we will be giving you guys our final thoughts. Design. It is simple and elegant.The single X shape LED is a very modern design. The flat mouthpiece keeps the unit very small and discreet. While the solid aluminum shell is very sturdy and feels good in the hand. All in all the design is probably the strongest attribute of Pax 2. We give this a 10/10. Battery. The Pax 2 battery life is way better than the original. Giving you about an hour to an hour and a half of battery life. One of our biggest gripes of this vaporizer is the charger. Since you cannot use the device while charging. We think that if this unit would have a wall charger or a replaceable battery, it would be a game changer. We give the Pax 2 a 7/10 for battery life. Flavor. We would say this would be its biggest flaw. It is hard to draw from especially if you pack it too tight. The vaporizer is also quite hot compared to other vaporizers in the market. This makes the flavor and vapor quality less than ideal. We give the Pax 2 a 6/10. Control. The functions and features of the Pax 2 are very simplified and easy to use. For beginners that just want to pick up the device and power it on, this would be a big plus. But for people that want more control, especially for medical users, Pax 2 will leave you wanting more. We give 7/10 for its control. Value. You can pick up a Pax 2 for $279. Which is quite a premium cost considering the features it offers. We give it a 7/10. After averaging all attribute ratings, the Pax 2 comes out of a solid 7.4/10. It's simplistic design and user friendly interface makes this vape a good choice for someone looking for a small, easy to use vape. But there is a trade off with these features, come less than ideal vapor quality and lacking advanced controls. To change the temperature of the Pax just pull the mouthpiece off and push the button on the inside to switch thru the 3 different settings. The charger base is also found in the box and it just plugs in right under the mouthpiece of the unit. Unfortunately, with the design you cannot use the unit while charging. Thanks for watching!
