The Fleuss series of vintage timepieces are inspired by the work of Henry Fleuss and the intrepid early divers who helped develop the mechanics of undersea discovery . Henry Fleuss is widely regarded as the inventor of the first self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (Scuba) in 1878. This invention first successfully used in 1880, was perhaps more than any other heralded-man’s appreciation of an entirely new planet beneath the waves that had yet to be discovered. With a 43.00 mm diameter case crafted out of solid 316L stainless steel, it is framed by a unidirectional bezel with hardened glass. The Fleuss offers a more traditional dial face that immediately echoes some of the most famous vintage divers to ever be produced with Arabic indexes at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions perfectly harmonised with carefully weighed baton applied indexes in between at the hour. Generous layers of swiss lume coat the dial and bezel indexes, making this the perfect companion for low light conditions.
