The Welsh Highland Railway is fantastic. Joining the towns of Caernarfon and Porthmadog, via the high pass near Beddgelert, this railway has some fantastic views. The mighty little engine, NG143, a Peyer Peacock loco, which hauled the long train for us today worked hard to clear the summit, gave us all the usual steamy sights and sounds along the way.
