2024 Nissan Z Nismo Mountain Drive Review | This Car Is More Fun Than You Think!

👋 Today we drive the new 2024 Nissan Z Nismo on a fun mountain road! How does the Nismo stack up? We had a blast driving the new Nismo Z on the fun mountain roads. The updates over the standard Nissan Z are tremendous! We drove three Nissan Z Performance trims on mountain trips and they leave a lot to be desired. The NIsmo solves all of our complaints. The Nismo Nissan Z has a much stiffer suspension that gives great feedback from the road. Steering improvements are significant. Quicker steering response that allows for better handling and a more fun experience. The 9 speed is also tuned to shift much quicker. The Nissan Z Performance had about a 500 RPM delay when using the paddle shifters which is unacceptable for a sports car. Nismo Z is snappy to respond! This car even sounds pretty good. We had a blast ripping through the mountains and the 420 HP twin turbo engine delivers plenty of power. The turbos hit hard and let this car carries itself around the turns and get moving! The new 2024 Nissan Z Nissan is a fun car to drive and the Recaro bucket seats hold you tight and this car seems to be the perfect blend of everything you would want in a fun sports car! Now the new Nismo is about $6,000 more than a Toyota Supra, and it doesn't have the refinements and adaptive suspension, steering and exhaust. So it's a bit of a pricey car for being simple. But it's downright fun!
