A Ghost Town in the UAE ? Al Madam Buried Village | Drone | Dubai Series

I had a chance to explore the village of Al Madam which is approximately a 70 kms drive from Dubai towards Oman. The village is half submerged in the desert and is now a ruin. Inhabitants of the town were Al Kutbi tribe which evacuated their home somewhere around 1970-80s. Legend says that it was the overwhelming amount of sand which flew into their home and some say the village is haunted by the Jinn. The village has a mosque in the middle of the township which is abandoned too. Whatever the story be, I enjoyed my evening trip to the village and is a unique experience to be there. This place is good for photoshoots as well. Please make sure to carry some munchies as there is nothing around it and is completely abandoned.
