READ ME Please excuse the poor sound editing. I've had some problems with the sound files and had to fix it by myself, even though I don't have much experience with sound editing and mixing. I hope you can still enjoy the film ♡ LOST & FOUND is a german LGBTQ+ short film in the style of a coming-of-age movie with shooting locations in Rüsselsheim und Frankfurt an Main, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt und Mainz. The 30-minute long bachelors project came to life as part of the Motion Pictures studies at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, with financial support from HessenFilm und Medien and equipment from MBF Filmtechnik. The short film centers around the student Valerie (Pia Dembinski), who can already see the bright future alongside her boyfriend Ewan (Singer Beni Fahr). Obviously it feels like a punch in the face for Valerie when Ewan suddenly comes out to her as gay. To top it all, Ewan disappears shortly after. With a heavy head, Valerie starts searching for her ex-boyfriend and quickly meets Fynn (Benjamin Ali), who seems to be closer to Ewan than she thought. Ewan-actor Beni Fahr wrote an original song for LOST & FOUND called „Find Me“, which appears in the film‘s final act. You can also hear the single „Bye Boy“ by newcomer Evou in the film. Author, Director, Producer and Editor of the short film is Lukas Liedig. The film shooting took place in September 2020, the entire crew consisted of young film and sound students, the roles were cast with conciously picked queer actors and actresses. LOST & FOUND is not just a bachelors project but also a passions project that everyone involved put a lot of work and love into.
