The country bid farewell to Mahant Narendra Giri, on Wednesday. Baghambari Muth’s Mahant Giri has been given ‘Bhoo Samadhi’under a lemon tree in the Muth, on Wednesday. People have gathered to pay their last respects to Mahant Giri. Special Investigation Team (SIT) has questioned the first accused Anand Giri for over 12 hours in connection to the alleged suicide by Mahant Narendra Giri. Meanwhile, SIT has also questioned four people involved in the security of Mahant Narendra Giri. The Acharya of Niranjani Akhara, Kailashanand, has said that, Mahant Narendra Giri was not much educated. He stated that Giri somehow managed to sign. This comes as a major revelation and raises many questions over the suicide note found at the spot where Giri was found hanging. Narendra was found dead in Prayagraj at Baghambari Muth. Giri had reportedly left a suicide note, which mentioned his disciple Anand’s name also. Narendra Giri was the President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad.
