I prefer the split cases that allow me to easily take the Joy Cons off the Switch console. Unfortunately every case I have used or seen mentioned online has issues with the console portion of the case be loose and hard to keep in place etc. I didn’t want the DBrand one and have to use a dock adapter and I didn’t like the fix for the Genki Attack Vector with using the tape and I’ve heard Jsaux and other had similar issues. I decided to solve this issue myself. I took my Savage Raven Fission Grip and my Genki Force Field 2 grip and combined them. I liked the Fission Joy Con grips so I kept those and I took apart the Force Field grip by taking the pins out of the case that holds the folding Joy Con covers onto it. Needing up working great. I had the Fission grip and the Force Field grip sent to me for review so this didn’t cost me any money but the thoughts are my own. I wouldn’t buy either of these grips. If you so happen to have them or get them super cheap then go for it. Genki, if you see this just edit your mold on the Force Field case to be just the back cover and include that one as the back piece in your Attack Vector instead of the tape solution. If you like the idea and can use it, just hook me up with Genki products. lol.
