Case Study-Dropping Eyelid/ Ptosis: This 80-year-old gentleman had a severe drooping of the eyelid for 4-5 years and he was not able to open his eye much. This was due to the weakening of the muscle which lifts his eyelid due to aging. He had poor bells phenomenon that means there was less protection of the eye during sleep. Hence we decided not to lift the eyelid fully but enough for him to see. Ptosis surgery is performed through the line already present on the eyelid so that scar of the surgery is not visible.
