Today Bible Verse in Tamil I Today Bible Verse I Today's Bible Verse I Bible Verse Today I18.04.2025 ENGLISH VERSION: Today's Bible Verse (10/8.04.2025): VERSE: At the ninth hour Jesus said: "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (MATTHEW 27:46 KJV) EXPLANATION: Blessed be the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. "At the ninth hour Jesus said: "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46) Today we will meditate on this verse. One of the most important days in history is the day Jesus was crucified. We call this day "Great Friday" because it expresses the Lord's great sacrifice, great love, and great grace. In English, this day is called "Good Friday" because the people of the world received good things such as salvation and deliverance from Satan through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. When we think of the sufferings of Jesus Christ on the cross, our eyes begin to shed tears without our knowing it. Our hearts are filled with deep sorrow. This day reminds us of the Lord's love, sacrifice, and patience. This day commemorates the forgiveness of sins and the joy of salvation that Christ earned through the cross and death. For this reason, this day is a day of remembrance for us as children of God. At the same time, it is vital that you dedicate your life to the cause for which Jesus Christ sacrificed his life on the cross. Now let's look at today's verse: (Matthew 27:46) Abandonment is a painful thing in any case. How sad it would be for a woman to leave her loving husband and go to live with another man! How painful it is for children orphaned by the death of their parents to wander the streets! When the victim is abandoned by friends, family, and superiors, the heart of the victim is troubled. Look to the Lord when such situations occur to you. And He will never leave you. In some circumstances, it may seem that the Lord is not listening to your prayers. But the truth is that God will never leave you. “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25) Your friends and relatives may leave you. But Jesus will never leave you. “Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.” (John 6:68-69) Surely, Jesus will be aware of every pain you experience in a situation of abandonment. He is fully aware of you. Was he not also one who had passed through a state of abandonment? “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” He sacrificed his life. Abandoned of man and of God, and afflicted with afflictions, He hung on the cross. His death was painful. His disciples ran away from Him. The society that had benefited from Him shouted that they would remove Him, eliminate Him. On the cross He experienced ridicule and reproach. Jesus tasted the cup on the cross. The Lord Jesus Christ, born into the world as a human being, patiently endured all the sacrifices, reproaches, and insults that He suffered in His life. “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.” (Isaiah 53:7) “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) That is why He, out of His great love, saves us who have died in trespasses and sins, not abandoning us as the sons of the Lamb. Therefore, be patient, as the Lord Jesus is, and by His blessing enjoy a blessed life. He will guide you in all your trials and tribulations. He comforts you when you're lost. He will run and pick you up from the abandoned state and embrace you. “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.” (Psalm 27:10) Beloved, even if father or mother forsakes you, the Lord will never leave you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Like, Comment, Share & Subscribe to our Channel "Today Bible Verse in Tamil" (TBVT) : Subscribe: / todaybibleverseintamil #todaybibleverseintamil #todaybibleverse #todaysbibleverse #TBVT_TodaysBibleVerse #TBVT_Todaysverse #tbvt_april18 #april18 #todayverse #TBVT #TBVT_Today today bible verse in tamil, today bible verse, god's word for you today, bible verse today, tamil bible verse, indraya vasanam, today's bible verse, today bible verse tamil, bible verses tamil, today's bible verse in tamil, bible verse today in tamil, bible verse of the day, today's bible words, bible verse of today, daily bible verse tamil, today bible words, daily bible words, bible, today vasanam, today vasanam in tamil, bible verses, tamil bible, god's word today
