Homeade Tip Up: The Slammer

This little rigged tip up is the way to go.If your into building and you have these materials, you can do it. I got the idea off youtube when I typed in " homeade tip ups" and theres even a website where you can purchase " The Slammer". Its really easy to make and it's cheap. That way you can jig with one pole and wait for the other one to go off like a tip up. All I used was a 21 inch piece of 1x4, 2 about 6 inch 1x4's, a 8 inch piece of 1 1/2 inch pvc that was angled off at 22.5 degrees, 3 eye hooks- 2 big and one small, a spring that costed $1.35, a small hinge and a 1x1 piece of wood about 8 inches long. And of course a fishing pole. Hopefully soon I will get the steps to building this and put it on youtube. Because I was un able to find a how to make " The Slammer" on youtube.
