The Bible teaches that those who endure trials and remain faithful servants of Christ will receive a great reward in heaven. Specifically, Matthew 5:12 which is part of the Beatitudes, a powerful section of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount; “Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” This verse encourages believers to remain joyful even in the face of persecution, knowing that our faithfulness aligns us with the walk and courage of those who've stood strong & secures a heavenly reward. It's a reminder that trials are not meaningless—they're part of a larger spiritual journey, our salvation in and strength in Christ and the endurance and fight that leads to eternal joy in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Galatians 5:1: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Our crowned King Jesus, Himself laid down His life for us to save us from sin and all unrighteousness. Charlie received his well deserved crown for his faithful service to the Lord, like the many martyrs who've gone to glory before him. His beautiful wife expressed the perfect words: “Now, and for all eternity, he will stand at his Savior’s side, wearing the glorious crown of a martyr.” - Mrs. Erika Kirk Now it's up to us. We must press forward in honor of his legacy, never surrendering. The good fight must press on, stronger than before and show the world true power of the grassroots machine Charlie created. "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses." 1 Timothy 6:12
