This 2010 Ford Explorer is a perfect example of issues that can develop from using after-market parts. The customer noted a check engine light, ran the code, and noticed it was an oxygen sensor. They went ahead and replaced the sensor with an after-market sensor. But that pesky check engine light still would not go away. Why? Because after-market parts aren’t quite the same as OEM parts; and in the case of this Ford Explorer, the after-market part did not keep the oxygen level within the acceptable range for the car so that pesky light kept popping up. Rather than continuing to waste their time and money or possibly make the problem worse, this customer did the right thing and brought their Ford Explorer to Integrity Automotive. After our certified mechanic listened to the customer on what they had already tried, our car-care specialist went ahead and replaced the oxygen sensor with an OEM factory sensor. Sure enough, no more pesky check engine light! If you have a check engine light that will not go away, DON’T IGNORE IT! Give Integrity Automotive’s mechanics a call today so we can figure out what the problem really is and get it fixed before a small problem becomes a really big one. https://integrityautonv.com/street/13...
