BBC Radio 1 in concert series December 1976 almost half a century ago when I recorded this. A monumental performance. Great audio quality. I uploaded this as I bought the CD of Steve Hillage which was meant to be this, but was, and was not. The whole performance was not there and well chopped, no compare and no audience sound, like a football match with no crowd, and it was padded out with some recordings made in France, I was disappointed. Either the tape was scrubbed or lost. So here we go - THE COMPLETE 1 HOUR IN CONCERT, including Andy Desmond as the first act. I recommend listening to the whole show to get the atmosphere right,(20.36 if you must) It is in high quality (occasional oxide drop out as with early cassette, nothing too much ) recorded when the bandwidth was high (as perhaps 6 stations heard on FM and the local police, as apposed to today too many to count all playing the same compressed stuff). Equipment--TDK Super Avilyn C60, Laskys cassette deck, Amstrad 3000 mk11 tuner, dipole on roof, Sony mini disk. I make no profit from this and have uploaded for those interested as its no where else to be heard on the net (except 46 ( as of 2021) light years away, tune in and hang on 44 Bootis ) . In my opinion one of the best in concert shows of the time. Rescued from the bottom of the wardrobe and sent back to the 70s, put your head phones on, or play through some ESL57s.
