This playthrough features The Spearmaster which is a slug cat that has attributes some may consider to be… unnatural. This cat has the ability to grow and use an unlimited amount of spears from their tail which is very useful! However, they do not have the ability to hold items without using their hands because they have no mouth! The Spearmaster is one of the most difficult runs I’ve completed so far as it requires delivering messages, by hand, through a few of the most brutally unfair areas of the game. There are a couple new areas in this run which are pretty cool to explore, and there is a lot of lore included to reveal some new characters and a few key plot points to the story of Rain World. The creatures are very much on high alert and almost seem to know how to use the screen transitions and limited passages to their advantage! I definitely made some simple mistakes in this run, and got lost in some of the new areas a bit, but overall, I think this is the easiest and fastest route.
