Cii Radio Hajj 1434 Trailer: Our Journey Begins

Our Journey, the theme of Cii Radio's Hajj 1434, hopes to make everyone around the world feel a part of this great journey as Hajj it is ultimately the Ummah's journey. Throughout the course of history, Hajj has been a memorable journey, from our beloved Nabi SAW's farewell journey to the pilgrimages of Sahabah and saintly persons. From the epic journeys of fourteenth century explorers like Ibn Battuta and the generous gold giving Mansa Musa to that of American human rights activist Malcolm X, everyone's pilgrim's odyssey is unique and shrouded in sacredness. An exciting new addition to the broadcast is an outreach effort meant to convey the spirituality of Hajj to the wider public and get people speaking about and sharing their Hajj experiences. Cii Radio will be hosting a live broadcast on Sunday October 13, the first day of Hajj 1434, from the Image Lifestyle Centre in Fordsburg from 6am to 10pm which coincides with the centre's shopping festival. The public will have the opportunity to interact with Cii personalities, witness live visuals from the Hajj and see Cii's Hajj broadcast in motion. This year, the energetic Cii Radio team aspires to convey the in-studio atmosphere and excitement that the live broadcast generates to the rest of the station's listenership. The Hajj 1434/2013 broadcast will begin on Saturday at 6h30pm and will culminate on the night of Eid. Everyone is invited to join us on Our Journey, share their experiences and help motivate others to want to etch their Hajj experience in the sands of time.
