FRIENDS!!! I am so happy to be able to share with you this new trick I have learned for the EASIEST builder gel extensions EVER! This is exactly why I wanted to make a YT channel, to be able to share tips that will make your life SO. MUCH. EASIER! This is one of them. . I was watching one of @melissasmanis YT videos and I saw her use the dual forms for applying builder gel. I faithfully always use my builder gel for extensions, but up until this point, for the whole last year since I have been dipping, I have been using the PAPER forms. Dual forms? Hmmmm I remember I bought a pack last summer with polygel, tried them 1 time and put them away. I have never tried them with BUILDER GEL! Immediately I said to my fiancé, I HAVE TO GO TRY THIS! . It’s a rare moment when you try something new that is as easy as it looks. This is one of those times. I couldn’t believe it. I did an entire BG extension set in under 10 minutes. That is from start to finish, shaped and topcoat! Get out of here. Happy birthday to me!! LOL . I tagged all of the supplies I used in this video - - but really, I think any brand products will work just the same. As I explain in the video, I tried this method with a thinner self-leveling BG and it kept breaking on me, because this method allows for extremely THIN layers (YAY), with the thinner BG liquids, it is just too thin. I had to add extra layers on top – which required filing to smooth the top…. With this HARD gel BG – 1 layer in the form – shape the nail bed and file the top ridge – boom YOU’RE DONE! . I really hope this helps someone change their practice as it has changed mine!! It is def way easier, requires less skill and WAY LESS TIME! . . .•••I hope you've been inspired!!
