To celebrate the end of the year, I decided to go through my collection of video clips that I shot in Southeastern Washington this year and edit them all together in to one beautiful compilation. All of these aerial videos were shot with my DJI drones: either the Mavic Mini drone, or later in the year the Mini 2. All of the scenic places you see in this video are either in the Tri Cities of Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco... or they're within a 30 minute drive. Just about every shot in the video involves the Columbia River or the Snake River, which meet and join forces in Pasco... becoming the largest river west of the Mississippi. The musical soundtrack that accompanies the video is "The Blue Danube", composed in 1866 by Johann Strauss II. It's ironic that a song written about one of Europe's most famous rivers goes so perfectly with this video about a very famous river in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. A few of the sights shown in this video are: The Ed Hendler Bridge (More commonly known as "The Cable Bridge") The Pioneer Memorial Bridge (More commonly known as "The Blue Bridge") The U.S. Highway 12 bridge over the Snake River The Interstate 182 bridge that connects Richland and Pasco Two different railroad bridges that cross the Columbia River near Pasco Several BNSF freight trains running over or along the Columbia River The Twin Sisters rock formation, located about 30 minutes south of the Tri Cities Gesa Stadium, home of the Class-A Tri Cities Dust Devils baseball team Clover Island The giant American flag at Camping World in Pasco And quite a few different views of the Columbia River.
