Now Dr. Bill Johnson Of Innovations Medical has details of a brand new technique that can let you do just that Dr. Bill that sounds like music to so many of our ears. How are you? Dr. J: Good Morning. Host: This is a brand new technique. What we are talking about? Dr. J: We’re talking about. What we’re calling the Brazilian buttock augmentation left long name. But it’s a suture lift or thread lift for the buttocks and this is a new technique because some of the previous techniques to do thread lifts of the buttocks have been had some pain and discomfort at post-op and this technique has really gone in and been designed to eliminate that give a nice lift with no discomfort. Host: Oh My Gosh. Sounds too good to be true because we can’t wear our Spanx to the beach. So it sounds like the next best option to do. How does this all work? Dr. J: Well first thing we do is we bring in and we mark where we’re going to want the sutures to go and that’s a little bit different in every patient. So we have to do that first then we take you in take some picture and put you on the table and this is kind of a demonstration of where of one example of where the sutures might go and depending upon the body shape they’ll go in a little bit different pattern on each person. Host: Okay. So you do that consultation process just like you would for any other procedure and you look and see where it needs to be lifted and you do just that how does that thread stay in place. What keeps it in place? Dr. J: Well. What we do is we go in and really since it’s all done under locals very little discomfort we don’t have to do many medications. We often will give a little sedative just because you got to lay still for an hour. Then we make a small incision lower back under local anaesthetic and we anesthetize that spot and each of the spots since the sutures are exiting. We put the threads in and smooth them out tie them off against their partner on the other side and close it up. So that’s step one it’s this two-step process. So the second step we come in and actually open it back up and pull the sutures tight because what’s happening to keep them in place is each of the sutures has a little cone in a knot. This is really what makes this a special technique is each of those little cones causes your body to form tiny a little ligament and so when we comeback in three months and pull it tight you’ve got about a hundred little ligaments on your buttocks that we’re pulling with so that we get a nice smooth lift without dimpling and no discomfort. Host: Wow. I know you I love like every woman around the studio right now it’s like what’s they’re attracting excise towards this area right now because this is a really big deal but like I said sounds too good to be true but we have some good before and after pictures that were edited for television. We can see the unedited version on your website take us through what we’re seeing here. Dr. J: Well this is a before-and-after patients lying down and you can really see how much more curvaceous the buttocks are in the after picture it’s really nice rise much fuller and if she were standing you’d see she wasn’t as gravity effective. Host: Gravity is a because that’s a big problem that’s really what we want to get the lift because the gravity affected.
