Fight modes represent collections of configuration and behavior. There are collections (flight modes) on the transmitter and also, likely on the controller onboard the aircraft/rover. Setting up flight modes involves : 1. deciding how many flight modes you want, 2. which switches on the transmitter you want to use to select between the flight modes 3. assigning flight mode identifiers to each of the switch positions (or combinations of switch positions if using more than one switch) 4. configuring which RC channel to send your flight mode information out on 5. configuring what levels (-100% through 100%) to use to represent each of the flight modes 6.
