WLED is a powerful open-source firmware for controlling NeoPixel LEDs like WS2811, WS2812B, TM1809, and more. It supports ESP32 and ESP8266 devices, making it an excellent choice for DIY lighting projects. With a built-in local HTTP server and a sleek, modern interface, WLED allows you to manage your LEDs effortlessly from any device on the same network. It also works flawlessly with Home Assistant, enabling smart home automation, voice control, and advanced lighting effects. WLED supports both LED strips and 2D matrices. In this tutorial, you'll learn the exact steps to set up and configure one or multiple LED panels. The demonstration features the open-source ANAVI Miracle Emitter, powered by the XIAO ESP32C3 RISC-V microcontroller. For this video I used Wago splicing connectors with levers (3-conductor block) and a DC barrel jack to a 2-pin terminal block adapter. This setup allowed both the panels and the development board to be powered by an external 5V power supply. ANAVI Miracle Emitter is an open-source IoT development board designed for NeoPixel LED control, also supporting various I2C sensors and a mini OLED display. I designed the printed circuit board (PCB) using the popular open-source software KiCad.
