Too bad they do not allow private kayakers to go, unguided to the cave, or land on the beach inside the cave any longer. Your group gets 8 minutes in there, and there are large numbers of power boats loaded with tourists crowding the South entrance. I'm glad we saw it, but it was not the "picture" we had of it at all. I would have loved to go in our own kayak just after dawn..... alas, no longer possible. When you book with a kayak company, be sure to ask if their kayaks have backrests like all normal kayaks do.... not just the plastic 3" dip that you can not lean against at all. The company we used could have been so much more enjoyable if they'd simply had the padded backrests that all other kayak tour companies have! UGH. Just awful. Do not book with out asking about this.... it is important.
