Very happy how the car performed for its second outing (Brashernats was the first) DRIFTING: I found it genuinely hard & scary to drive, mainly because of how much faster it is but also how it handles being less front heavy. It was very twitchy and hard to drive at high speed, I am running a fair bit of toe out so I am guessing that is what is doing that. The car does create crankcase pressure on the methanol at WOT which is annoying as it pushes oil out of rear of valley. I am going from a 5 to a 6 stage dry sump pump to try solve that problem. I had issues when doing fast entries the oil safety would put the car in limp mode, I had it set at 40psi minimum at 4000rpm and dropped it to 15psi and it solved that issue. The water temp and oil temp was really good all night. The car can actually turn the tyres in top gear on fast entries now with the new camshaft. (no need to ever have to use nitrous now for drifting) I now need more seat time to figure out the car, its so much fun to drive. Every time I pull the drift brake going down turn 3 the car was very hard to control compared to how it was before, not sure if that is the steering or if its the weight being moved back making it really hard to control. Could just be me needing more seat time. Roll racing 2wd night: Roll racing was interesting, I found my alternator belt issue plaguing me a bit at the start. I need a new v belt as mine has worn too bad so slips at rpm. The car feels faster but I need to get it on a dyno and see how much horsepower I am down from fitting the smaller camshaft (For durability and reliability) First round in eliminations I was outed by a quick FG Barra, it would have been close if I didn't spin but it definitely had more power as it was pulling away from me. I'm going to get the car on a dyno and see what hp it makes and maybe try spray the 3rd nitrous kit and hope it plays nice.
