Hype-O is a rapper/songwriter who was born in Nigeria but moved then made a move to the UK. He started off his music career 8 years ago which took an inspiration from all the different places he lived in. A mixture of Afrobeat and UK hiphop. We first came to know Hype-O after the release of his song “Cheffin” in 2019 so we want to get to know how he came to a decision to make music. For Hype-O it wasn’t really a decision to be made as he grew up around music, from church bands to the sound of his own brother making music, it was certainly meant to be. Hype-O is not an artist that will stick to a certain genre of music, he always goes with what he feels in music which shows that he got love for the lifestyle. The creation of the song “Naija 2 LDN” featuring Chozen 1ne shows the broad spectrum in Hype-O’s talent. He talks about how the collaboration formed after they met during a show with Hype-O looking for hook to finish the track and Chozen 1ne was the man for the job.
