The Independent National Electoral Commission has recieved a recall petition from Kogi Central Constituents against the Senator representing the district at the National Assembly, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. The submission of the petition follows a collation exercise of signatures by her constituents which started a week ago. The recall process according to the constituents was initiated because they believed She was not representing them properly though this is disputed by some others who have also been vocal in coming out to in a show of support for her.
