In this video, I would like to share the best fertilizers plan for wheat crop to get high grains yield. Our wheat growers can increase their wheat grains average yield by using balanced fertilizers application. Four R’s are very important to understand in order to get best results from fertilizers usage. These are; 1) Right fertilizer 2) Right source 3) Right time 4) Right method Fertilizers are applied in crops by keeping in view the fertility status of soil. Poor soils require more fertilizers or more nutrients than fertile soil. Soil samples analysis is recommended in order to use right dose of fertilizers. Farmers can save their money by using fertilizers on the basis of soil samples report. Basic fertilizers to apply are; DAP 1.25 to 1.5 bags + boron 3 kg + Potash MOP or SOP 1 bag at the time of seeding. 1 to 1.5 bags Urea + 6 kg zinc sulphate at first irrigation. 0.5 to 1 bag Urea on second irrigation. 0.5 bag SOP potash on third irrigation. Potasssium nitrate + boric spray foliar spray is recommended on booting stage of wheat crop.
