The fight, flight, freeze response is our body’s natural response to danger and threats. It’s stress response that kicks in to keep us safe – a survival mechanism. Sometimes, it’s hard to turn off and stops you from doing all the usual things you enjoy. So, in this video I’m going to explain what the fight, flight, freeze response is and what happens in the brain. You’ll also learn what you can do to take back control and calm things down. Recognising the signs of your fight, flight, freeze response helps you respond and take control and better manage ongoing stress, worry and even anxiety in difficult situations and daily life.
